Helping You Discover the Perfect Vintage Pieces for Your Home and Your Story

I grew up in a large family and reusing and recycling items was a way of life before it became part of the cultural conversation. Most of my clothes were hand-me-downs or thrifted and our home decor was a combination of items passed along to my mother from her older siblings. Buying new just wasn't a thing in my childhood world. Fast forward to when I got married and moved into my first apartment. Decorating consisted of items given to me by my husband's aunts and the occasional thrifted pieces I could afford.

As I got older I began to consider what my own decorating style was because I had no idea. All I ever had was what someone else passed along to me from their homes. For a while, I shopped, when I could, at big box stores and bought things that were on trend, yet generic. Nothing really spoke to me except for the few pieces that I had held onto from when I first got married. There was a pair of figurines that I had purchased with what I had saved from the grocery money. There was a hand carved wooden box that my husband had bought for me (at great financial sacrifice) that I continued to treasure. I realized that the things that brought me joy, weren't the things that were new or trendy. They were things that told a story. Things that weren't perfect. Things that no one else had. Things unique to me. This has led me to the creation of this shop where I encourage you to explore the beautiful vintage items I have sourced along the way and to find the piece that speaks to you.
