This is a stunning vintage (almost antique) copper box that was originally sold as a cigar box to gentlemen in department stores in Buffalo, NY. It is a roomy 12 inches long, 5 inches deep and 5 inches wide. It is a great piece for storing items on a dresser top or for coralling t.v. remotes or miscellaneous items on a hall table. It can even hold your jewelry with its soft paper/cardboard lining.
This box has a rich copper patina. There is a slight imperfection to the top left corner of the lid (see photo) but it is in a very good condition for its nearly 100 years of age. How are items packaged for safe shipping?
I have been safely shipping vintage items (including stemware and glass) for 5 years. I use recycled shipping materials when ever possible and pack items securely in layers of protective paper, bubble wrap and then encase them in packing paper to ensure the safest possible delivery.
